Bastien Pradier

professor, Dj and organizer of events in the south of France, shares with dedication his passion for the three connection dances he teaches: Argentine Tango, Kizomba and Bachatango. Originally an acupuncturist and martial arts teacher, he practiced and taught for many years before devoting himself entirely to dance. Rich in a long history of artistic and scientific «several lives», he uses his acquired knowledge and experience in pedagogy, anatomy, physiology, energy, to establish with the help of his professors and assistants, a thematic program entirely focused on the quality of the connection and the musical interpretation. He devotes his time to the search for the right
movement, as well as to transmit his love for the Tango and the values he can convey.

A professional dancer since 2013, Bastien PRADIER offers regular classes and internships in the main dance schools of the Vallée du Rhône (LeStudio, 1001Danses, Latin'Addiction, LeLieu, etc.), and organizes in parallel many events including the Grande Milonga UN ENCANTO ROJO at the Rouge Gorge/Avignon, the Milonga MALENA, the Events TANGO ACTITUD and TANGO INTEGRACION, the TANGO EVOLUCION FESTIVAL and the FINEST KIZOMBA FESTIVAL also in Avignon. On his way, he meets and works with many maestros and international artists such as Alejandro Ferreyra & Fernanda Grosso, Maria belen & Santiago Giachellos, Laura Boucaya & Federico Quijano, Flabio Aguilera & Marina Levchenko, Gabriel Sodini, Claire&Dario Dasilva, Leonardo Auza & Paola Aguilera, Ivan&virginie Inofre, Maria Filali, Daniel Pereyra, Alexis Rodriguez, etc. He opens the Argentine Tango to the circles of Afro-Latin dances (Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba), intervening in Festivals to give classes there, animations and demonstrations. His approach
of a young and dynamic Tango meets a lot of success in the south of France and in Spain. Thanks to his work, the community is growing, and he is regularly invited with his partners to several international events such as the COLOR CIELO FESTIVAL - the TANGO DEL MAR FESTIVAL - the FEEL’IT DANCE FESTIVAL - the LATIN SPRING BREAK FESTIVAL - the AIX’PLOSION FESTIVAL - the SALSA STRASBOURG FESTIVAL - the LATIN HOLIDAYS - the
MUSIFLORE FESTIVAL - the SUN&BEACH FESTIVAL…

Bastien Pradier’s teaching is based on his knowledge of chinese medicine, taiji, gymnastics, yoga, etc. and promotes the consciousness of the body to develop a strong and subtle tango.
Beyond the technical gesture must be born the freedom of movement, musical interpretation, creativity, listening to the other and self-confidence. His classes, intense and playful, emphasize the learning of figures through exercises and educationals for a
thorough understanding of the fundamentals principles : balance, connection, musicality, dialogue... the background from which the form will naturally emerge. Keen to adapt to everyone’s needs, he has developed a methodology and a program to transmit tools that will allow each student to dance with pleasure and develop his own style. His teaching in French/Spanish/English allows him to teach with audiences of all levels in different countries, and share with as many people his vision of the Argentine Tango.

Evolutionary courses structured by theme, according to a progression of the level of
difficulty distributed over the year. The beginner courses are based on learning the basic
steps and the development of musical listening. The courses at the intermediate level aim to
master the acquired and address more complex steps. Advanced courses break down
automations to free everyone’s musical interpretation and creativity.
