Gloria y David

Gloria and David began their career as a professional Tango couple in 2009. Their goal is to dance but, above all, to promote this wonderful dance. That same year, they founded the 4D Tango Association, dedicated to these purposes.

In 2009, they inaugurated the Gava Mar Tango School, developing an extensive career as teachers. At the same time, they performed shows and exhibitions, both in stage productions and Milongas, and participated in various festivals, including “Tango entre amigos” and the “Sitges International Festival.”

In the following years, they were invited to various events, which they combined with their teaching work for their Association.
In 2019, they created “Milonga Brava,” where they continue their work of promoting and teaching Tango.

Lovers of traditional Argentine Tango, they strive to convey the essence and elegance in their Exhibition Tango, infusing their work with soul and feeling.

Gloria Rodriguez began her training in Argentine Tango in 1993 in Buenos Aires with instructors Mingo and Esther Pugliese, later expanding her learning with renowned teachers such as Teté Rusconi, Alejandra Arrue, Graciela González, and Gustavo Naveria. She has always trained within the framework of Social Tango, putting into practice what she learned in the Milongas of Buenos Aires.

She also began a professional career performing in Tango houses, on the legendary street “Caminito” in the La Boca neighborhood, and in cultural spaces such as the National Library and the “Avenida” Theater in the production “Tango Jazz.”

In 2001, she moved to Spain, where she began a new phase of work, experimentation, and teaching alongside her current partner, David Couce.
