Sant Feliu de Guixols
In order for our event to enjoy the most appropriate setting possible, we have chosen the beautiful town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols as its venue. It is a seaside town nestled in the middle of the Costa Brava, between Tossa de Mar and Platja d'Aro. Having a great cultural tradition, Sant Feliu also stands out for its spectacular coastline made up of large cliffs and hidden coves covered by the green of the pine trees.
For more than 50 years the Porta Ferrada Festival has been held, year after year as a world-renowned event, which includes big names from the international scene of music, dance and theater gatherings. In fact, our Color Cielo Tango event in Costa Brava is coordinated with the rest of the summer cultural activities in Sant Feliu and is supported by the Department of Culture of the Sant Feliu de Guíxols City Council.
One more year we want to remind you that, on the occasion of our Color Cielo Tango in Costa Brava, you have the opportunity to enjoy, in addition to all our tango activities, the magnificent beaches of the Costa Brava, especially beautiful in the vicinity of Sant Feliu de Guixols, venue for our event.
Thus, we could highlight, from North to South, the extensive Sa Conca Beach (surrounded by impressive vegetation and accessible on foot from the Camino de Ronda de S ́Agaró), the various small coves located along said path (which crosses , in an impressive mix of cliffs, Mediterranean forest and luxury stately homes, where the aforementioned path begins).
The Sant Feliu de Guixols Beach itself (framed by the town's beautiful promenade) and, finally, the various coves located to the south of Sant Feliu, on the Tossa de Mar road -Cala Canyet, Cala del Senyor Ramón , Cala Salions, Cala Futadera, Cala Giverola, Cala Pola, etc.- (all of them accessible by private car and, some of them, also with the boats that leave from Sant Feliu beach itself).
