Kane Nieves – Argentine Tango Dancer and Teacher
Kane Nieves is an Argentine tango dancer and teacher whose career has taken him to 14 countries, sharing dance as an art form and a cultural bridge. His training combines apprenticeships with renowned tango masters and studies at specialized institutions, allowing him to blend tradition with contemporary pedagogy.
He is a member of the International Dance Council (CID, UNESCO, Paris). In Buenos Aires, he teaches at the Catedral Club, one of the most emblematic venues for contemporary tango, and is part of Grupo Copes, a historical and artistic benchmark of Argentine tango. He has the support of Argentine associations such as TTD (Trabajadores del Tango Danza - Tango Dance Workers) and MISESO (Milongas con Sentido Social - Milongas with a Social Purpose), which endorse his work as a promoter and teacher of tango in its cultural and social dimensions.
In Europe, he is a co-founding partner of Tango Argentino Social Club, an active association that promotes tango on the French Riviera and the PACA region through classes, meetings and events.
Barbara Borrelli, born in Argentina, began her tango journey in 2012, training with renowned Argentine teachers in London and Buenos Aires. Since then, she has participated in festivals and shows in Spain and France, including her role in the film Bienvenue à Melpomène. A graduate in education, she has a strong pedagogical approach and certifications in Progressive Ballet Techniques and Barre Intensity. She teaches regular tango classes in Antibes, Draguignan, and Les Arcs, France, as well as her innovative Tango Femme Intensity workshop, a unique concept that combines body awareness and tango expression. Barbara is an active member of the CID and president of the French association Tango Argentino Social Club.
Since 2023, Kane and Barbara have run the Tango Argentino Social Club, offering regular courses in the south of France and participating in festivals, seminars, shows, workshops, and private events. They also organize La Milonga Tango Social Club and co-organize the Saint-Tropez Tango Festival.
